Connect Muse
You can do this right on your phone, in the Muse app.
Before you begin
What it can do: read and change your trips, saved places and collections — your whole Finding Horizons account, not one trip. It can’t see your password or payment details.
Who processes it: what Muse reads goes to the company that runs Muse, under its terms, and uses your plan with them. On the Finding Horizons side, connecting is part of Horizons Plus and Nomad.
Disconnect or rotate any time: on the Connect page, or in the app: Profile → Connect your AI → Connected apps. Rotate makes a new link and stops the old one — do it if your link was pasted somewhere it shouldn’t be, or a device with it was lost. Disconnecting stops future access; it does not erase what Muse has already kept.
How it connects
Muse is given the Finding Horizons address and signs you in: you sign in once and approve. Muse keeps that connection in its own secure store and renews it on its own — no key to paste again. Seen working with us on 24 October 2026.
Copy this address
Finding Horizons server addresshttps://www.findinghorizons.ca/api/mcp
No key or private link — Muse signs you in instead, and keeps the connection for you.
In Muse, ask it to add a custom connector
You’ll see: a screen called “Add custom connector”.
Paste the address in the first box
If there is a box for an app ID or client ID, leave it empty — Muse registers itself with Finding Horizons.
Tap Add
You’ll see: a Finding Horizons page.
Sign in with the same account you use in the app, then tap Approve
It shows what Muse will be allowed to do before you approve.
That’s it — Muse keeps the connection and renews it on its own. You don’t paste a key again. To stop it, disconnect it in the app: Profile → Connect your AI → Connected apps.
Check it worked
Ask Muse: “What have I saved in Finding Horizons?” It should list your places.
Then open Connected to your account: Muse is listed there with last used and today’s date (if you used a private link, the link says it). If it still says “not used yet”, Muse hasn’t reached Finding Horizons — go back one step.
